Greetings!
In late 2012, US-based members of CS Foundation traveled to India to see the progress made in the various medical and educational institutions that you have so generously helped us to support. Meeting our India-based office in Mumbai, we ventured to the rural city of Ranipet in Tamil Nadu province where we were welcomed by our sister organization, the Thirumalai Charity Trust, which manages our various projects. With much excitement we witnessed significant progress in the uplifting of the people in this impoverished rural community. Please join us in viewing the difference you’ve made…

Thirumalai Mission Hospital
We were honored to receive a full tour of the hospital, which recently expanded into the 2nd of the 3 floors for which it was designed. The hospital staff and patients were kind enough to allow us to visit nearly every operatory, laboratory and ward. With much privilege and fortune, we were even permitted to meet several mothers with their newborn babies!
Health Center
Many people from one of the villages in Ranipet came to greet us at one of our many health centers that function in coordination with our hospital. Although language was a barrier, the sense of mutual gratitude required no translation. The villagers told stories and sang songs of how the health center has uplifted their community, while we expressed our honor and thanks for the opportunity to serve and be welcomed by them.
Meeting of CS Foundation and Thirumalai Charity Trust

In a truly rare event, all members of the CS Foundation and Thirumalai Charity Trust were in one room, along with top medical staff from the hospital. Discussions focused on the current state of our alliance and how to further improve our services both to the beneficiaries in rural India as well as to our donors around the world. Many plans are in the works–please continue to join us as they manifest! Thirumalai Charity Trust.
Thanks
Our most heartfelt thanks go to you for your past–and future–support in making a vital difference for so many. As mentioned, we are indeed expanding our endeavors both in the physical realm, building new medical and educational infrastructure, as well as the digital, including the construction of a new website, periodic e-newsletters, and the integration of social media.
Additionally, we invite you to join in our development:
- In Summer 2013 we are welcoming the head doctors of the Thirumalai Mission Hospital to the
San Francisco Bay Area for a festive, informational event. More details to come… - Would you like to travel to and/or volunteer in India? Although we have yet to establish a formal volunteer program, our trusted associates in India would gladly welcome you and make
use of your services. Educators and Medical Practitioners especially welcome. - Please contact us with any suggestions as to how we may better serve you and/or our beneficiaries
in India. We would love to hear from you!
Most Sincerely,
