Dr. Lakshmi Seshadri

Dr. Lakshmi Seshadri M.D. is a senior consultant at the Thirumalai Mission Hospital in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu, India. Her medical focus is Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), to which she has dedicated her life, having trained extensively both in India and overseas. For over 30 years Dr. Seshadri has immersed herself in the practice of medicine and her vast knowledge of everything OB/GYN has been exhibited in dozens of research publications, lectures and professorships. She currently applies her medical expertise towards ensuring the success of maternity in Ranipet, which is critical to our goal of empowering women, who in turn are better positioned to uplift their communities.

Dr. Mandalam Seshadri

Dr. Mandalam Seshadri M.D., Ph.D., FRCP, is the medical director of the Thirumalai Mission Hospital. With a focus in Endocrinology, he, much like his wife, has devoted his life to his medical practice, training for many years both in India and overseas. Similarly, Dr. Seshadri has directed his efforts towards countless research publications, lectures and professorships. His understanding of endocrine disorders in impoverished rural India is rivaled by few, enabling decisive diagnoses and treatments of diseases such as diabetes, hypothyroidism and osteoporosis, the likes of which plague communities like Ranipet, hindering people from reaching their full potential.
